If an item you are seeking is not available at the Barlow Library we can often get it from another library through InterLibrary Loan.

IA Shares is a new delivery service program of the State Library to provide a method of sending and receiving library materials between public libraries and the State Library at no charge to you or the library! Items requested from a college or university will be subject to a cost. The patron will be notified ahead of time of the cost.

Guidelines for InterLibrary Loan
- You must have a Barlow Library card in good standing to request InterLibrary loans.
- Please check the catalog by visiting the Online Catalog to be sure that the Barlow Library does not own the item.
- If you are in the library, fill out a form for each item. Forms are available at the circulation desk. If you are not in the library, fill out the form below, or contact the library at 641-648-2872.
- Please fill out all required fields, indicated by *. The more information you provide, the better our chances of finding your item.
- Items may take 7-14 business days to receive.
- Due dates for InterLibrary loan materials are set by the lending library. InterLibrary loan materials are borrowed from other libraries. Please return them on time!
