For 2025 filing (2024 taxes): April 15th, 2025
- Wednesday, January 15: Due date for 2024 fourth quarter estimated tax payments.
- Monday, January 27: IRS begins processing 2024 tax returns.
- Friday, January 31: Deadline for employers to send W-2 forms.
- Tuesday, April 15: Due date of filing a tax return or to request an extension for most of the nation.
- Wednesday, October 15: Due date for extension filers.

What TAX materials does the Library carry?
The Barlow Library does NOT carry loose forms or booklets.
Please call ahead (641-648-2872) to make sure we have what you need.
We will have State and Federal 1040 forms available, but you will need to use our Internet stations to print any additional documents from the IRS and State of Iowa tax sites (printing and copying is 15 cents per page)
