How Do I . . . Renew and Reserve Items?

There are several ways you can renew or reserve items from the Barlow Memorial Library:
  • Click HERE to go to the catalog. 
Log into your library account by using your library card number (on the back of your card) and your PIN number (the last four digits of your card number). See the how to videos below for step by step instructions!
  • Call the library at 641-648-2872 and let us renew or reserve it for you.
  • Stop in the library with your card and we will renew or reserve the item for you. 

Once the title you have reserved is available, we will notify you by phone call.  The item(s) will be held on the reserve shelf for 10 days.  If the item(s) are not picked up within the 10 days, the item(s) will go back on the shelf or to the next patron that has the item(s) on hold. 

Items can only be renewed up to one time.  You will NOT be able to renew if there is already a hold on the item(s).
